Maclifter is Macpac's growing range of specialist wheeled-bin lifting systems, designed and manufactured in the UK for refuse, recycling and specialist collection vehicles. Available as single 250kg SWL and double 500kg SWL bin lifters, Maclifter provides lifting solutions for compatible wheeled bins from 80L through to 1260L. Maclifters are fitted extensively across our own Macpac vehicle range, but they are also a major standalone product. We supply Maclifters directly to other refuse vehicle manufacturers and specialist body builders, providing a proven UK-manufactured bin lifting system for integration into their own vehicle bodies. With side and rear-loading configurations, a wide range of lifter heights and the ability to develop solutions around different body and deck heights, Maclifter provides a flexible platform for both standard and specialist applications.
Single Maclifter – 250kg SWL
Our single bin lifter provides a 250kg Safe Working Load and a compact lifting solution for applications where individual bins are collected.
Single lifters can be incorporated into Macpac products including Mactip, Macpod and MacPoly Tipper, as well as suitable third-party bodies.
Double Maclifter – 500kg SWL
Our double bin lifter provides a 500kg Safe Working Load, offering flexibility across commercial, municipal and specialist waste collection operations.
Bin Sizes – 80L to 1260L
Depending on configuration and bin interface, Maclifter can accommodate compatible wheeled bins from 80L through to 1260L.
An adjustable manual kick bar allows the lifting arrangement to be adjusted around different compatible bin sizes and configurations in accordance with applicable BS EN 840 requirements.
Maclifter systems are available in both side-loading and rear-loading configurations.
This allows the system to be integrated across a broad range of refuse, recycling and specialist vehicle body designs.
Different collection bodies require different lifting geometry.
Maclifter can be supplied for bodies with roof heights from approximately 2400mm to 3500mm.
We can also work with body builders and customers on custom roof-height and deck-height requirements where a standard configuration isn't appropriate.
